New Background

It was hard to let go of the Christmas but it was time but wither is still with us so it will stay.

Shopping Days

Did you know that I might be one of the best shoppers in the world without even trying to be!?
I told you about everything I bought and considering how much I could have spent that was some GREAT shopping.

Well yesterday I got the STEAL of a lifetime!!!!

I went to the Gateway mall with my Bestest and we walked around in the snow for a couple of hours and then decided that we were done with that experience. So we met up with her family and then we slowly made our way back to West Jordan.

*Side note* On our way to the Gateway Wendy-Bestest mom- informed us that Modest By Design was going out of business and that they were having FANTASTIC sales.*End side note*

We went back to Bestest house and*Do you remember how long it takes my Bestest and her family to get anywhere* well lets just say it was about 45 minutes before we left her house again and we still had to stop by my house and inform my parents about what was going on.

It was 6:20 before we knew it and Modest By Design closed at 7.
With Wendy driving like a crazy person we made it there at 6:33 on the dot.
We practically ran in and just started to grab everything that we liked and we climbed into a dressing room and were changing like mad women. I put on the second dress I had found and IT WAS PERFECT!!!! I fell in love with it!!!!! I tried on a few more but none could compare to "that BEAUTIFUL one that had fit so perfectly".

So then I looked at the price tag..... but..... LIGHT BULB..... this dress was 90% off!!!!!

And so you know what I did!!!! I bought the darn thing!!!! It cost less than my superman wallet did!!!! And I bought a headband that matched so wonderfully!!!! -I look RAVISHING if I do say so myself.- the headband almost cost as much as the dress cause the headband was only 60% off. Which is ridiculous but true. The dress and headband together cost Eighteen dollars and thirteen cents.

The headband alone cost $7.13
That means the dress cost $11.00

ahhhh.... I can feel good about that.....

Dr. Lady Had This To Say...

Dr. Lady: "I have two things that I KNOW you have. One is that you have chronic Migraines. Two is that you have a Wheat Sensitivity problem."

Me:"What does that mean?"

Dr. Lady:"It means that your body doesn't process wheat like other peoples do."

Me:"I've been tested for celiac."

Dr. Lady:"It isn't celiac. It's Wheat Sensitivity."

Me:"What's the difference?"

Dr. Lady:"Wheat Sensitivity can't be tested. It can only be proved."

Me:"How do you prove something you can't test?"

Dr. Lady:"You go off wheat for roughly 6 months."

Me: ............LONG PAUSE............."Okay."

Dr. Lady:"It will be hard and it will take a lot of patience, but I think you can do it."

Me:"Okay...."

Dr. Lady:"I'm going to give you a medicine for your migraines you will need to take it every night before you go to bed for the next 6 months."

Me:"Okay."

Dr. Lady:"Lets make an appointment for March which is in 3 months and we'll see how you're doing then. Fill this paper out before you leave, and I'll see you in March."

Me:"Okay...."

Later in the week.... Finally home alone.... *Cry* *Cry* *Cry*..... *Sob*..... *Sniffle*..... *Blow nose*...... *Cry more*..... *Talk to self....
I:"Why are you crying? This could solve everything!!!"
Me:"What if I don't want to give up all those foods? I didn't even get to finish my Christmas cereal!"
I:"But what if it solves everything and you aren't sick anymore?"
Me:"But what if it doesn't? What if I give all of my favorite things up and it doesn't help at all!!!
I:"But what if it does?"
Me:"I'll try it.... But I reserve the right to cry whenever I feel like it!!!!!"

What Santa('s) Brought

Santa brought Landon an i-pod 4th generation.

He brought the rest of us 200 big ones!!!

So really he brought me a shopping day with my bestest friend. Which included a purple undershirt, cream lace shirt(the shoulders are only an inch wide), so there was a jacket to go over it, a new black coat(that is SUPER adorable!!), a superman wallet, makeup, 4 packages of HUGE smarties, 2 magazines, lactose free ice cream, potato chips, and 2 things to thank my bestest friend for going with me! With 65 dollars left over for whatever else I feel like buying. So although it was a sorta boring Christmas day, I've had the BEST two days with my Bestest and it was exactly what I needed.

Bestest Friend

At the choir concert last night my Bestest Friend and I decided that we needed to hang out tonight. So after school she called me and was wondering if she could come over around 5ish. I said yes(I then called mom and asked). Then at 5:30ish I get a call from my Bestest Friend and she's wondering if she can come over around 6ish I say that's fine.

Do you know what I do whenever she tells me she'll be there at 5ish. I start curling my hair at 4:50ish and see if she can get there before I'm done doing my hair and make-up. This has only happened once.... We've known each other for 4 1/2 years.

It is know 5:50 and I'm done and ready for her to be here. But I know that she will not be here until at least 6:15. What to do.... What to do....

At present moment it is 12:38am.... Does any one else see the problem with this picture?

At first I thought I couldn't sleep because mom's gone for the week(I never sleep well when moms not home) but then as I was lying in my bed I decided that I couldn't sleep because mom isn't home AND because my stomach is giving me a yucky feeling. So I took some meds. and am drinking some water but I am in no way tired....

What do you do late at night when everyone else in the house is fast asleep?.... This is a new concept for me.... I can always sleep!(It's a talent of mine) But I can't right now.... There's defiantly something wrong with me.

My young women's leader had her baby today! He is sooo big and cute and I am super uper excited and happy for her!!!! His sisters love him the picture of them holding him is one of the cutest pictures I've ever seen!!!

My grandma had surgery (cause she has breast cancer) and she is doing spectacular as far as I've heard. She ate lunch and dinner and she was walking around a little bit.... I'm pretty sure that those are all wonderful things to be doing right after you have surgery....

P.S. Grandma I wrote you a letter and I was going to send it with my mom but I forgot to give it to her. So then I was just going to send it in the mail but we have no stamps. So I thing I'll just scan it into the computer and send it to grandpa's e-mail.... I just have to figure out how to use the scanner..... I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

My dad and I went downtown tonight to listen to the concert choir sing at the Assembly Hall. They sounded BEAUTIFUL!!!! Mom you really missed out cause the organist(Richard.... David.... something Greere.... Greer.... something) He played for them! All but sept for like 2 songs. It was much better than at the COB and JSMB put together!!!! And Dylan gave me the biggest hug in the world!! I even got a hug before his mom did!!! That made me feel really super special(not gunna lie)!!!!! And I saw some friends who were in the audience.... like Marriah Pugmire, she is just the sweetest girl I've ever met!!!! And I saw Peter.... I don't remember his last name.... but we were really great friends in history class last year and this year. And I saw the Stobers and the Johnson's and Search and Destroy were there with their mommy. And that's all I can think of.

Ms. P. came over to bring me my homework and we talked for a little while. They've been doing tons of stuff in Pro Start! They are selling treats for the holiday's and they have 36 orders to fill from teachers! It sounds like they have been having TONS of fun!!!! I miss that class....

Ginger Bread House

This morning I woke up at 9:30am. I did nothing until about 1:00pm. Then I decided that I should do something. So I did a load of laundry and then I said to myself I should bake something. I then decided that I would make ginger bread men. But every ginger bread man needs a house!!!! So I made them a house!!! This is how it turned out....

This is the house if you are looking at it from the very front.

Welcome to my home!!!! This is my walk way, it is made out of, gingerbread candy canes make up the gateway into the sidewalk which is made of peppermint candies, the sidewalk is lined with hedges made from gumdrops.

These are the candy canes on the side of the house, they are held up by lifesavers, to make the gate look sweet!!!!!

This is my Christmas tree in my front yard! I put chewy sweet tarts on it to look like Christmas lights!!!! It makes my house look festive!!!!!

My roof is made of NECCO candies topped with smarties and lined in white frosting!!!!!

The back of my house has a pretzel window and right under the window are two candy canes that makes it pretty to look at, and it is lined in pull-a-part licorice.

My Unrealistic Christmas Wish

So.... I'm going to do online High School.... That means, no Choir, no Prostart, no Ceramics, no anything....

It's sad but it will be okay.... I think....

My Christmas wish is to not be sick. To let me finnish high school at school with all of my friends. To have a senior year the way I've planned it out in my head since I was in 6th grade. After that I can be sick.... I promise.... I won't complain anymore I'll go along with it.... I just want to be better.

We had so much fun at that dance! We danced even though we didn't know how and like no one was watching even though tons of people were pointing and laughing at us. We laughed like there was no tomorrow! And we just had the funnest night of our entire lives!

Aunt Tiff

My Aunt Tiff's blog this month is everything she's grateful for.

And for some unknown reason reading all her posts made me cry. A good cry though.

I am sooo soo so super uper lucky to have the family that I do. I am always inspired by them.

Sick... Again

Did you know that I would rather be mauled and killed by a lion than be sick. Yup it's true. Being sick is the worst of Heavenly Fathers creations. People who get sick once every 3 years(like my brothers) didn't think it's all that bad. But when your sick all the time like I am, it sucks.

You want to know the worst part of it all?

I didn't think my family actually believes that I'm sick. I think they think I fake it. If they could feel what I feel they wouldn't think it. They don't understand. That is why I'm so thankful for prayer. Because I know that my Heavenly Father knows and understands what I'm going through and so does His Son, and for that I am truly grateful.

When you spend as much time at home as I do, not able to go places or move a whole lot. You find that it is easy to appreciate the little things. When I'm home alone or I can't sleep -because all my body can think about is getting the bad out of me- I try to think of things to marvel at, like...

1) Freshly fallen snow. Untouched. The kind when you wake up at five in the morning and you look out the window because you knew it was suppose to snow, and there it is. Beautiful and white. The roads still unplowed. At that moment you think it is the cleanest think on the entire planet. And it is.
2) Jack(he's my blanket). He always keeps me safe and warm. He wraps around me and snuggles me in so close, and I know that the only reason he'll let go of me is because I let go first.
3) Christmas music. It is so uplifting I could float right up to the ceiling just listening to it. It will always make you feel happy. It doesn't even matter if it is Christmas time or not.
4) A nice warm bath. Because when you have been doing that hot and cold thing all day a bath will even it out only if it is for 10 minutes. Those ten minutes are a little slice of heaven.
5) A mom who calls from work just to see if there is anything she can do for you. You both know that she is a half an hour away but she would go through heaven and earth to make sure your taken care of.

Most people don't think about those kinds of things because they are so busy with their lives but I always have time to think about those kinds of things. And I believe that that is a blessing from my Heavenly Father. He knows how much I hate being sick and He also knows that being sick is what is helping me to grow. But He doesn't want me to be miserable so He taught me how to find good things even during bad times. And that I believe is a HUGE blessing.

So I challenge you all to look for good things as you go throughout your day. Even if it's been the worst day in the world and all you want to do is throw yourself on your bed and cry like a 12 year old girl. STOP. Think about ONE good thing that happened in your day and then maybe the next day you'll be able to come up with TWO good things. I promise that if you will do this little thing you will be a more happy person.

ProStart

ProStart is my restaurant class. On Wednesday we went to the South Towne Expo Center for a Field trip. We learned many different things including napkin folding and fruit carving.

I carved a BEAUTIFUL flower into a honeydew. I planned on putting a picture on here but my computer is PMSing right now. So you'll have to use your imagination. Just picture a super flower that is green and white-ish. It is Fantastic if I do say so myself! I'll put one on when my computer is done with her fit.

This is just an up date of everything that I've been doing in the last couple of months.

I put a different design on each side to show personalty.

The music side is my favorite because I did a really good job on the mysic notes! I think they're cute! :D

I made a vase in ceramics. This is the unfinnished project but I will have pictures of the finnished one soon.

My cousin played his gituar for me. My own personal show. He's a sweety!

My bestest friend sent me this picture of her family when she was like 3. I just had to share it with the world. It is so FUNNY and very cute. The best part of the entire picture is her dad and if you've met him you would understand.

My sister went to a halloween dance thing in Logan with all of her friends and she looked BEAUTIFUL!!!!

My dad fell off a ladder and hit is head on a root that was sticking out of the ground. He was 15 or 20 feet off the ground. I don't know if you can see the tree and the ladder above his head, but that's where he fell from. Well that ladder and that tree. Sorry if you don't understand what I'm saying.

We called 911 and the medics came and looked at him. They were being very careful. They were worried that he had broken his back or neck or something to that effect. They took him to the ER and he was back within the hour. He is totally fine no cuncussion or anything. He's been really sore the past couple of days but other than that he's perfectly healthy.

And last but not least. THESE ARE MY ADORABLE PINK SHOES!!!! Aren't they just so cute!!!

First Date

On Friday I went on my very first date!

I went with one of my friends named Zach. We went to Entheos together and now we just text a lot.

We doubled with another friend that went to Entheos with us. His name is Andy and he brought his girlfreind named Jessie.

We saw the new movie Megamind, and then we went and got Jamba Juice.

I had a ton of fun! I was really excited and he made it really enjoyable!

The School Bathroom

WARNING: Content may include the subject of Poop. If this grosses you out in any way STOP READING NOW.

You know when your at school and all the sudden it hits you that you have to go to the bathroom REALLY BAD? And this is no regular "Oh I just have to pee." bathroom break, this is that and more. That is the worst thing in the world.

So then you ask the teacher for the hall pass and off you go to the bathroom hoping and praying that there is no one else in the bathroom. Because it is weird when you accidentally fart and then you get out of the stalls at the dame time.... not good at all.

But of course someone was there.

And apparently she had to poop to.

So you sit there and try not to fart and hope that the person in the other stall does not know you.

Then you finish and you wait so you don't run into each other as you go to wash your hands. You hear her flush right as your about to walk out of the stall... But then you hear a wonderful sound. someone else has now entered the bathroom and can take blame for the "noises". But you hear something else also... the toilet paper roll form the stall that you know had the other girl in there is still rolling.

And now you know you are safe to walk out and wash your hands. Because this girl was just doing a courtesy flush. What a wonderful thing.

What She Didn't Know

So in July I got my permit. I think that I'm a pretty good driver. At least I'm better than I was when I first got my permit. You can ask my mom she'll tell you.

So my mom asked me to take some flyer's to people in the ward for them to pass out at church on Sunday because she's out of town.

I asked her if I could take the car.
She said that that was fine. So I grabbed the keys and went to the garage and Buzz wasn't there(the little green car).

So I went down stairs and asked where the car was. The boys took it camping. Well the only other two cars that were there are both stick shift. I can't drive that.

So my aunt being the wonderful person she is let me take her mini van.

What she didn't know was that I had never driven by myself before. So unknowingly she put her one and only car into these young inexperienced hands.

I am proud to say that her car is in one piece and I was totally safe the whole time!

WOOT!!!!! GO ME!!!!!!

Favorite Aunt

I don't actually have a favorite aunt. You see I love them all dearly! I couldn't choose just one. So I choose to love them ALL!

My Auntie J. called me today to tell me that her daughters daughter(I don't know how I'm related to her so...) looks just like me! She told me that we are both so cute and that she could be my daughter instead of my cousins daughter.(I hope all of that makes sense.)

When I answered the phone I said "Hello!" with a cheery disposition of course! :D
She replied by saying "Is this Ashtyn?"
"Yes!"
"Hi! This is your Favorite Aunt Jenny!"

And it turns out that she is my Favorite Aunt Jenny. Cause she's my only Aunt Jenny(if you didn't catch that). I love her dearly. That is how she always says hi on the phone and I love it!!!!!!!

Reality Check

I'm pretty sure that I was living in a fantasy world. I thought that everyone had as good a life as i did. I didn't even realize how Fantastic my life really is and how everyone wish for that perfect family and I somehow got that.
Today I was handed a Reality Check.

I realized that I have friends who don't have both parents living with them or they don't have a dad or a mom. But the only reason that I realized this is because I went to my friend Samm's house for Glee night. I walked in like I usually do without knocking(because her mom told me that that is the way it was done) and I set my cake on the counter and MeeMa was sitting on the couch. I looked at her and she said to me,

"Can I help you?"

I replied "Hi. I'm here for Glee night."

She then said "What's your name?"

"Ashtyn." I was now getting a little worried.

"Are you here to see Samm?" she asked.

"Yes." I choked back a tear because it was then that I realized that she really didn't remember me. Honest to goodness could not remember.

She then called for Samm and she asked her who I was and if it was alright that I had walked into the house without knocking.

Samm later explained that sometimes her mom forgets things. Lots of things.

I knew that MeeMa had MS, but I didn't realize how bad MS is.

My mom has/had(I'm not sure which one) MS but it has never been like that at all. Yes my mom is a little scatter brained but what mom isn't? I NEVER thought in a million years that it was like that. I didn't know, or maybe I didn't want to know, how much goes on outside of my little world. Does that make me a bad person? I sure hope not.

But I have now set a goal and that is to appreciate everything that I have and help those who need it. Like my friend Samm. All she needed tonight was a good friend who would listen and I was there for her. I strive to be that person that people know they can lean on. I hope that you all know how much I love and appreciate all that you do!

Cherish all those around you and you will always have someone that will Cherish you.

My friend stephen is turring 17 today. I just wanted to wish him a very happy birthday!

He is one of the best friends I've ever had and I am so so so so very lucky that he is my friend! Him and I met at Entheos and the first year we didn't even talk to eachother. We were in different clique's and it was socially unexceptable for us to talk to eachother. Then 8th grade came around and we were partners for a project and we got to know eachother. I was instantly "in love" with him. I wanted to get to know him better and I wanted him to be my best friend!

We had some really fun times that year! We laughed and played and ate lunch! What else are you going to do at school. He became part of our group, and we were glad to see an addition!

Last night we had our first Choir Concert!

WE SOUNDED SOOOOO SUPER UPER WONDERFUL!!!!!!!

Not to brag or anything!

I was so proud of us!

And of course mom forgot the camera so no pictures.(bummer)

I had so much fun and I totally remember why I love to sing!

If you are wondering what that reason is I will tell you.

It is the way that the spirit comes. No matter what you're singing. He comes to tell everyone who's listening how much that song means to you and to them. Last night my mom, sister and I drove to park city(I drove there). We went to the outlets and bought NEW BRAS!!!!!

Another Essay for History!

We are learning about the Declaration of Independence in my history class. She told us on Friday that we need to write an essay/paper on the DoI. But that the paper was suppose to be the DoI but sept fer in more smiple terms. You were suppose to write it as if you were someone else writing the DoI.

She read us some examples.

1) Yoda, All men are created equal young padaone.

2) Ganster, Yo Dog don't you know that all men are equal Yo!

3) Valley Girl, Like Oh My Gosh so like all men are equal right!

I was for certain that I was going to HATE my history class this year. I've never cared much for history and I was sure that no history teacher could be better than Ms. Almond.

OH MAN WAS I WRONG!!!!!

Ms. Simmons is fun and she always has something for us to do. We constantly play games that help us to learn the material. I absolutely LOVE that class!

Well the other day we had a test. I was freaking out because I didn't feel like I had studied enough. I was so nervous!

I got the test and I realized that because I had done the study guide I knew what a lot of the answers were. I was so happy that I passed that test! The THREE hours that I spent on that study guide paid off!

I was feeling a little sick this morning... yesterday morning?...I didn't think much about it because it was fast sundy and I always feel sickon fast sunday.

Well now I'm doing hot and cold things and I just got out of the shower and I ate some bread and I'm going to take some IB profen and see if that helps.

Choir Tour

This year for choir tour we are going to Disneyland!

But... It is going to cost us about 600 dollars a piece.

My parents-because they believe in personal growth and reliance-told me that if I want to go I have to pay for it my self. Which I sort-of like. Mostly because-if I get to go- I will feel like I accomplished something GREAT!

Now because I am paying for it I am doing all of the fund raisers. I get 45% of everything I sell. So I sold Happenings Books. And now I'm selling Cookie Dough.

The brand is called DeHaan Enterprises. BEST. COOKIE. DOUGH. EVER.

I'm not just saying that because I want you all to buy it. I'm telling the Honest Truth. If I had the money I would buy a years supply. It is like a little piece of Heaven sent to you in a 2.7lb. tub of complete happiness!

BESTEST FRIEND!

Yesterday after school I spent the rest of the day with my bestest friend!
We walked to macey's and bought french bread and drinks for the football game.
Then when we were almost home Tay drove past us and asked if we wanted to go to Macey's with him. We figured that we would rest our feet and go for a little drive. So we went back to Macey's.
When we got home Kaitlyn crimped my hair. I want her crimper. It is so cool! (a couple days before she curled my hair for me. She really is a BESTEST FRIEND!)
Then we went to the tailgate party at the seminary building. It was a blast! I love seminary party's!
Last but not least we went to the football game. West Jordan(us) against Pleasant Grove(them). We lost. Bummer. But it wasn't a tragic loss. The score was 23(us)-33(them). It was fun. It was also the 2nd football game I've ever been to. I think it would have been more fun if they had put my friend in to play. Then I would have had someone to cheer for. Yep that would have defiantly made it better. But I saw lots of friends and my bestest friend and I got to spend all day together! You can't get much better then that!
So over all one of the best days ever!

I got this book about how to make differant cupcakes. There are some really cute things! I thought I'd start with something simple. I figured DUCKS wouldn't be that hard. HA! That was a funny joke! But my hard work paid off because they are DANG CURE!!!!!

California and Then Some...

My parents decided that we were going to go to California for our Hill-a-day(it is a famiy holiday. we do something every year and it is always super uper fantastic!). We spent the weekend at my grandparents house.

My parents rented a van. It was a SWEET ride! There was a DVD player and everything!

It only took us 9 and a half hours to get there!(If you think that is long you are sorley mistaken! Shortest time we've ever made it in.)

We left Friday morning at O' Dark Hundred! All us kids(and Mom) slept for the first 3 and 1/2hrs. We were there before we knew it!

On Saterday we left at 9:30am to go to Dillan Beach. We got there around 12. It was SOOOO foggy!(and a little cold) But after we had finnished lunch Lando wanted to go play in the water.(I wish I would have joined him) He played what he called "Wave Jumpping"! It was so cute! And we just waited for him to fall over. :) He never did. Bummer huh....

We ran into a little boy about 10 years old. He had a mit and a tennis ball. Mom asked him how far he could throw it and he said "pretty far". Mom told him if he threw it to Taylor he would probally throw it back. And he did. They must have thrown that ball back and forth for like an hour if not more. They became pretty good friends really fast. After they were done playing Taylor went and talked to his mom and they talked about the gosple for 20 minutes. He will make a great missionary someday.

Then we headed for "home".

We showered and hung out with all the Fam.

Sunday we went to Apple Hill. It was Tons and Loads of FUN!!!

We travled home on Monday. It seemed like a long drive. But it wasn't really.

...And Then Some...

I got sick after our trip.

Me and My bestest friend got in a little dispute, but we're ok now.

My dad got sick too. He's no fun when he's sick.

I got a cheese-less pizza for me from Papa Murphy's. Yummm! GOOD STUFF!!

aaah... the A days...

Did you know that I have the best school schedule EVER!
I think I've mentioned it before... But today I was reminded of how fabulistic it truly is.
I love my U.S. History class-- that I swore to HATE with a big purple passion--but never-the-less I'm in love.
I LOATH drivers ed. with a passion beyond belief!!!!! The teacher is the worst-- he might be worse than "L@^!#" I dare not say her name--for I think it is cursed--.
I LOVE CONCERT CHOIR!!!! IT IS SOOO MUCH FUN!!!! WE ARE ALWAYS DOING SOMETHING AND WE LAUGH... A LOT!
My last class of the day is Language arts--I LOVE her! She is the best ever! Did you know that she believes that no work is late until the end of the school year! How awesome is that?!

It is so fun!

It's like an Honors class! Because everyone that is there is there because they want to do something in cooking. Not just cause it's an easy A.

It is going to end up costing 100 Dollars!

BUT... I get a Chef Coat with my name on it! And you don't have to pay the entire 100 dollars all at once. As long as you pay it be the end of the year you can still stay in the class!

HOW AWESOME IS THAT!!!!!!!!

First Day!

Rules of being a girl on the First day of school.

Rule 1) Look your absolute BEST!

Rule 2) SMILE!(you never know what cute boy is looking)

Rule 3) Even if your outfit is killing you smile because beauty is pain.

Rule 4) Act excited to see someone even if your not.(all girls do this. I'm not a jerk. Plus sometimes you just can't wait for that annoying person to start bugging you again.)

Rule 5) HUG EVERYONE!!!! This is an essential if you want to keep your friends.

Rule 6) Flirt(because your a girl and you can)

Rule 7) find out where all your best friends lockers are and get their combo's so you can leave secret messages for them when they are having bad days(later in the year that is).

Rule 8) When someone complements your outfit(refer to Rule 1) say thank you, it's the first day of school and I wanted to look my best!

Rule 9) Play it up! Remember that it is the first day and everyone is allowed to make a fool of themselves on the first day.

Rule 10) Remember that it is a new year and you can make new friends and new mistakes.

Rules of being a guy on the first day of school.

Rule 1) Put on a pair of jeans and a T-shirt and don't worry about the hair it looks fine bedhead-ish get to school so you aren't late.

It is so much harder to be a girl then it is to be a guy.... It is also SO much more fun to be a girl!

When you walk into the school and people tell you, "You look radiant!" or "You are beautiful!" or "I love your hair!", that's when it is better to be a girl. Boys don't get those compliments and girls always do!

I did look beautiful today AND I felt beautiful and that is what matters!
