Did you know that I love food. I love the smell(most of the time). I love the taste(most of the time). I love that no matter where you go in the world there will be food(it might not be as good as a chicken sandwitch from chick-fil-a), but there is food.

Would you like to know what I love best about food?.....

I love that I can cook it. All by myself. And it will still taste good. I love that when I'm hungry I can go to the refrigerator and say well I can make myself a pbj or a hamburger. And you know what I can make both of those all by myself. I no longer need mom to cut my sandwitch into triangles or other things that mom's do with food. I can do it all by myself.

You know what else?....

I've been able to do that for a long time. And I love it so much!

I think that I will be a chef when I grow up..... Yep.... sounds good.

Wonderful Experiances at Youth Conferance

It was a long drive to youth conferance. We left at ten in the morning and made one stop and we didn't get there until about 2:10. But durring that car ride we talked about a lot of different things..... From stuff like the T.V. show the Bacholor to spiritual things.... how to help the girls in the ward that are struggling and things like that. It was a very good drive and I was glad that I could have that experiance.

When we got there I was shown where I was sleeping... I had time to set my things down an get a jacket and then I was off planting potatos. We had to make the rows..... I'll tell you right now that they make it look so easy ing the movies. I thought "Hey that won't be to hard."..... I was sorley mistaken.

It was hard work. We did it in the rain! One of the people in our group had said "Bateman it's cold and it's raining can't we just go back to the house?"

He replied, "Rain, Hail, Sleet, Snow, or Shine, we will plant these potatoes."

At first I was pestered about this, Mostly because we weren't even going to be able to the potatoes. Then I got thinking.... We weren't but someone else was.... Because I was planting potatoes in the rain someone else would have a meal.

Because of this experiance.... Because of what Bateman told me.... I now have a testimony of service. You don't realize how much you can help someone else through service. All I had to do was plant the seed and rest will come naturally.

This youth conferance was a blessing to many people. Including me. I have learned a lot from the little time I was there. I am so glad that we have youth conferance. I like that you get to know people you would never think about being friends with. You make great friendships at youth conferance, you also learn wonderful skills that will help you through your life time. These are the things I am greatful for. There is nothing else in the world that can help the youth of this generation more than youth conferance. This I believe and testify to you.
In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

On Wednesday I asked my math teachers if there was any way that I could miss Friday(Today). They said that we were going to be taking a test first thing in the morning and I souldn't miss that. I then said what if I came in and took the test and then left?...

At this point I realized that that seemed rather dumb... Just going and taking the test and not staying for the rest of class. But What they didn't know was that I had a very good reason for asking this dumb question.

Then my teachers said that would actually work.

I was so supprized that I could have screemed! I was so happy! I was going to work hard so that they wouldn't regret letting me go.

I still don't want to disapoint them so when I get home I will be calling my friend Jesse(he's a math genius) for a little bit of help with my homework.

Did you know that mothers are very smart?.... I knew that they were here for a reason.

My mom always taught me that the answer is always NO unless you ask.

I had planned on not asking and I wouldn't have been able to go. (I'm so grateful for my mom.)

Where you ask am I going?.......

Aren't mothers wonderful?!?!?!!!!

Good Things

I told you I was taking a math class and I have come up with a few more reasons why it is a Good Thing...

1) The kids there, want to be there so they particepate.

2) The kids there are way funny.

3) I have made some friends.

4) One boy has a crush on me. Who can blame him? :)

5) The teachers are amazing!

6) The teachers are good at teaching.... meaning... I can understand them.

7) We have finnished chapters 1-2 and taken a test on them... in two days... I don't forget what I've learned because it was only yesterday so I did well on my test.

8) The days go by fast because you don't have the same teacher all day everyday.

9) There are 4 teachers. There is always someone who can help you.

10) The kids are really nice and they are willing to help with anything and everything.

So all in all I am having a good time and I'm doing well. I enjoy the class and I'm not to bad at it. Well I'm off.

Remember to always smile! I know that I am!

SUMMER!.... Well sort of...

I'm taking a math class over the summer.

And it's not because I failed my other one because I didn't.
I'm taking it because it will take of my whole math credit. My last math credit if you want to be exact. I will miss youth conferance. Which is really upsetting... but no more math my jr. or senior years! HORRAY!
It's not like it's all summer either. Just the month of june. But it is all day. 1-5 mondays & wednesday and 8-3 tuesday & thursday. So it's school.
But better a month than 9 months.... Right?... RIGHT!
I'm a little nervous.... but it will be good.... I hope.
Some Good Things About Math Over The Summer...
1) No math jr. or sr. year
2) One month not 9
3) Two math teachers for one class
4) One on one with teachers
5) Not on Fridays
6) Not all day.... Just most of the day :)-
7) Make new friends
8) I won't sleep the summer away
9) I will be on a sleep schedule
10) I will have something to do durring the day
11) No homework(big plus!)

Well that's all I can think of right now.... Maybe once I get into the class I'll think of others... But for now this will have to do.
Well I need to get my stuff together. Don't want to be unprepared on my first day.

Horray for CD's!

We made CD's of our songs for choir.....

I love it!
I didn't realize how good we were until I heard us!
And guess what we are WAY SUPER MEGA FOXY AWSOME!!!!!!!!(move quote)
But they spelt one of our songs wrong on the back of the case. Sort of upset about that because it is the best song and our favorite.

The CD has both Belles Voix(B-ell V-wah(the womens choir)) and Take 10(T-ake T-en(the mens choir)) on it!

Mens choirs are so HOT!!!!!!

You can't help but love them!!!!!
Not only are they HOT but they sound beautiful?.... manly?.... wonderful?....
Well whatever the word for it is thats the way they sound! ;)

I have had so much fun in choir this year!
It has taught me so many things. Like....
Self Esteme
How to be a good friend
How to sing well
and just to be a good person.

I have loved every minute of it and I can't wait for next year!
