"I" vs. "Him"

how many times do you think you say "I" in one day?

I was talking to my best friend earlier today and she has a teacher who is in the army and they e-mail eachother all the time. she was telling me that he has seemed really depressed lately. She didn't know how to respond to his last e-mail and so I had her read it to me a couple times and I realizthat not once in that e-mail did he say "I" or "me". I find that very impressive. He talked about them and we and us but never once I.

I can't help but think what courage that must take. To only ever think of others. How do you do that? How can you just forget yourself and only think about the people you love and the people who love you?

I love all of my friends and family and even just my acquaintances. but I can't think of one day that I only thought of them. He thinks of only these people. People he doesn't even know. He worries for them and fights for them. If only everyone in the world had that piece of mind.If only everyone cared. What would the world be like then? Peaceful? Safe? Scary? Unsafe? Happy?

How many times do you think you say "I" in one day?

I know that I say it a lot. I hope that doesn't make me selfish. I hope to be more like this man who can think of one else but the people he loves and some people he doesn't even know. I think we should all be more like him and remember to love everyone and care for them.

Beautiful

I had my first choir conceret yesterday night. It was amazing! We did so well! Or at least that's what everyone kept telling us. I was very impressed with us! I think the best part was how I felt afterword. I felt peaceful and happy! And we all looked Beautiful!!!!!!
We have these amazing dresses that are super bright blue! They make you go "WOW! WHAT A COLOR!" It is supper Spectacular! I love it! We were all very beautiful not only in looks but in sound too. We blended and we did our four part harmony very well! I'm so enthusiastic about it if you couldn't all ready tell!

My New Goal

So my friends came over and stayed a lot later than was expected... actually 2 of them slept over! It was so much fun! I was glad to see my friends!
Now the topic of the day: Cooking
I have found that I love to cook, and bake. I find it very relaxing. My mom likes it a lot too, I think... because now that I cook, she doesn't have to!
Anyway, the other day I made chicken for dinner. IT WAS AMAZING!!! I am so proud of myself! Even my little brother who doesn't like anything, LOVED IT!!!! Isn't that cool! I thought it was!
My favorite part about cooking is that I can make things that I can eat, and that my family will love! I hope that sooner or later I will become one of the best chef's ever!
My New Goal:
To become better at cooking throughout the comming year!

Friends!

I get to see my friends from Entheos today!!!! Hooray!!!! I haven't seen them in what seems like forever! I think it's been 5 months. That is a long time to be away from friends. And in girl years it's like 5 years! That is a supper long time!
I love my friends and I am so excited to see them! They should be here any minute and I am so giddy that I can't sit still! How pathetic is that! But I don't care if it's pathetic, I'm to siked to care!
I'll let you know how much fun we had after they leave!

LOVING Choir!!!!

I am taking a choir class at school... I love it!!!! I love the fact that everyone in the choir can sing. I love the fact that we are all girls so it is OK to be yourself and everyone is themselves... for the most part. I love my teacher, his name is Kelly DeHahn. If you do not know who that is you are totally missing out, he is wonderful. I absolutely love him! (In all the appropriate ways of course.) I love that when we sing a song really super well DeHahn Smiles this huge grin that goes from ear to ear, and his eyes light up and you can totally feel the spirit! I love that feeling, the feeling that you did something right and you are now being rewarded for it. I love the friends I've made in my class. At the beginning of the year I didn't think I would make friends but I did and I love them all very much! They all have sweet spirits and you can feel their happy spirits as soon as they walk in the door. I love that! I love the music that we are singing! I love that it is a challenge for all of us to get out of our comfort zones and try something new! I just love my choir class and I'm so glad that the class is all year long! So all in all I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE my choir class!!!!!!

School Play

I tried out for my school's play... I think I did pretty good. I sang 'You Can't Stop the Beat' from 'Hairspray'. It was lots of fun!
Well I found out that the call back list was posted but I didn't know where it was, so I don't know how I did or when call backs are. I sure hope I didn't miss them. That would be so upsetting!
The play we are doing is AIDA. It has wonderful! I absolutly love the music!
Well that is all I can think of for today.
Oh and my grandparents are in town! We had lunch with them today! It was great!

Music

I love music! I love to sing! And most of all I love to be with people who are willing to listen to my not so great voice. I love being able to show off every once and a while.
In my history class the other day my teacher asked us if we had to explaine ourselves through a song what song would it be? Well I couldn't figure it out...
For our school musical this year we are doing Aida. I have fallen in love with this play! My favorite song is "My Strongest Suite".
So I was listening to it today and decited that I am the exact oppisite of this song. I like myself for who I am. But Ithink that because I'm so oppisite that this is thesong that I would choose for my assignment. I don't really understand that but that is what I would do.
Do you ever have those days where you just want to sing all day? Well that was my day on Thursday. I wanted to go aroud singing and dancing all day long! Ihave found that music is the best way for me to express myself. If I coud I would go aroud singing all day! Sometimes I just wish that life was a musical so everyone could sing and dance and you could break out in song and every one would know the words and you could express yourself beautifuly. You wouldn't be wierd for singing in that halls at school, the teachers could sing your lesson to you. Don't you think that that would be so cool!
It makes me happy to listen to music or to just sing. I find it realxing. The best part of my day is usually when I cone home and can get on to my playlist and listen to my music, and most the time sing along.
Everyone has something that makes them feel great and mine is music.
